Noem Waal is a collaborative group project: a dialogue in sound, centered on improvisation and an unfiltered interaction between audio and movement.

Using vintage equipment: pulse generators, oscillators, circuit-bent drum machines and cassettes containing unreleased snippets, Noem Waal plays with the live material recorded into reel-to-reel tape loops. By using magnets pendulating over the tape loops, the live-recorded material on the tape gets erased and manipulated, a process out of which a constantly evolving blend of sound arises.
